St.Mira's Inclusive Convent was started in 2009 by Anveshana Foundation as part of its "Social Inclusion" by its CEO  Mr.Chandrashekar.S to provide Quality English Education  and Agricultural Sustenance to the rural farming community in a village called Sujjlur. The school is recognised by the Government of Karnataka and accredited to NIOS. It has classes from Playgroup- X and intends to start a composite pre-university course and vocational courses  by 2015. The school not only inculcates academics it also has blended the agricultural concepts and worth in its educational program to provide basic scientific agricultural knowledge and sustenance for the farmer's children.  The school also provides for scholarships, sponsorships and  support given by philanthropists to its children. It also has implemented the play way technology and research based  learning processes in the classrooms along with computer aided instruction. The school is also supported by other like minded NGOs - Akshara Foundation and Future India;  and Educational giants like CMR Group of Institutions, who have donated Teaching-learning material for the children.
